A Long House would like to invite the general public to the Long Talk, the first installment of its series of conversations between poets, writers, and artists.

The first two editions of Long Talk will be held on 23 August 2020 and 30 August 2020. During these paired conversations, poets, writers, and artists  will explore the confines of craft, language, and a history that centers blackness as a long memory.

Kwame Dawes and Gregory Pardlo will inaugurate these conversations on 23 August 2020

followed by a conversation between Ladan Osman and Safia Elhillo on 30 August 2020.

Both conversations will happen at 8pm GMT+1.
