The theme of their first contest is “problem house” which of course is our name. it’s also the literal and inaccurate translation of munjechib, a korean word that refers to large test-prep books.
They are looking for short stories that shows something unexpected. something inside of something else. the mess. the problem. the thing lost in translation. the misunderstanding or mistake. a home falling or fallen down. a home barely staying together.
Especially work with a global perspective.
