The theme for Autumn which coincidentally is the second issue is EMBERS.
A dying fire in a lonely room, one light in the middle of an endless forest. The single spark needed to set the world alight, the heat hidden deep inside – embers can be the start or end of everything.
For the autumn issue, HALO Literary Magazine is looking for flash fiction and art that captures the long shadows on the cave wall, the crackling that could be a twig snapping on the fire or something else entirely, and the sense of danger that might turn out to be nothing at all – if you’re lucky.
Please ONLY submit art and writing that corresponds to the theme.
Submissions will close at midnight GMT, August 21, 2016.
