The second Qassim book fair drew to its doorsteps book lovers, publishers and authors. It was organized by the Qassim governorate in collaboration with the Saudi Publishers Association.
Over 200 publishing houses were in attendance, as well as government and social agencies.
The fair included lectures and seminars and poetry readings where a lot of the speakers talked about the need for a better reading culture.
The fair also included a pavilion for artists, one for families, and one for children to develop their skills and their love of reading.
Saudi Arabia is actively promoting reading culture among its youths. The Qassim fair is one of the many fairs drawing literary visitors from all over the works to its kingdom
