The Grill and Read event, a literary hangout for lovers of books recently held in the garden city of Port-Harcourt and by the looks of it, attendees had loads of fun what with authors like Othuke Ominiabohs, Franklyn Finecountry, Ifeanyi Ajaegbo and Merit Gogo-Fyneface to keep you entertained reading from their books and not forgetting some unforgettable spoken word performances by PH’s @WordPantomz and other on-fire SW artists . I hear it was an exciting and interesting experience even though I was there in spirit thanks to the Lagos International Poetry Festival taking place simultaneously. Well, I thought I would do you a public service by sharing some pictures from the event. Enjoy!
I’m bookish and I know it! Sue me..lol
Check out the swags…

While the spoken word artists prepare to shut the event down with their words, a few attendees quickly browse and make purchases at the book stand.

After the books, this grill is the main attraction, y’all. Lol
