Bedwei Kwaku Sonny popularly known as RHYMESONNY is poet/spoken word artiste who commands the stage with a presence that is spell bounding. His incredible artistry has received rave reviews from several major players on Ghana’s contemporary art scenes and across the world. He is a creative entrepreneur who has been an indefatigable champion of the cause of contemporary poetry in Ghana. He co-founded of The Poetry Exchange and he is also the founder and president of People Of Equal Thoughts and Spirit, the organizers of, Ministry of Poetry, Poetry March and ALEWA the rebirth of spoken and poetry in Ghana.
He has mentored a number of poets in the field. He is a member of World Poetry Movement, Creative Arts Projects Manager of the Arterial Network (Ghana Chapter). He has graced many high profile events in Ghana and across Africa including AU 50th anniversary celebration, The Launch of MTN at 20, Okyeame Kwame’s Versatile Show, Tigo BlueStar Awards Secret of Gh Girls by KSM, Wogbe Jeke, The Heritage Theatre Series, African Youth Conference on Governance, Stratcomm Africa’s Praise Jam 2015, MESH Confab etc. He loves sports and music.
