Since 2007 she has been working in Africa and specifically in Uganda. In 2011 she initiated the platform History In Progress Uganda (www.facebook.com/HIPUganda) that collects and shares historical photographs from Uganda to crowdsource information about them and investigates if they can be used to nuance historiography.
