The Cold Mountain Review welcome submissions of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, essays, interviews, photography and other visual art that reanimate forests as places of power and authority and explore how they continue to shape our ideas of what it means to be human in ways that gesture towards more eco-egalitarian, sustainable worlds.. Although CMR is not a scholarly journal, critically informed work and hybrid genres are welcome.
