Maïmouna Jallow is a Nairobi-based writer and journalist. She uses her art to explore questions around modernity & identity. She has worked as a radio producer for the BBC World Service and as a correspondent in the island nation of São Tomé and Principe. Jallow reports on arts, culture and music for the What’s On Africa website. She is an African Literature major (SOAS) and speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

She will be at the @Writivism fest where she will be performing The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives by @lolashoneyin
