I stumbled upon this interview with @chrisabani on Warscapes (another website that i go to for literary content specifically dealing with political narratives) where he talked about his new book/lyrical essay/memoir all in one and now I can begin to understand the awesomeness that is Chris Abani and why he keep stacking up those awards!!!!
This book has made it way into my June to-buy list and you should get it too.
