So I have been following her journey from the short story she wrote for @bookpage (one other website I stalk apart from @BookWawa and @JaladaAfrica..lol) and I knew she was going places and has gone places and will keep going places…
Not much is known about her largely because she is a very private person (has a protected Twitter account…Go figure) other than she is Ghanaian but was raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She holds a BA in English from Stanford University and an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she held a Dean’s Graduate Research Fellowship. She lives in Berkeley, California.
